Modernizing Content Discovery for Haircare Product Education

My Role:
Design Lead
As part of the oVertone website redesign project, I updated the look of the oVertone blog.
Blogging is so 2010. However, oVertone’s business is 100% online so the blog was used as a repository of reference material, covering topics such as how to use oVertone hair products, which oVertone product is right for my hair type, etc. Kind of like a Help & Support Center. The client services team would send links to customers about a particular topic pertaining to a question they had.
Since I had already redesigned the oVertone ecommerce website, I didn’t need to reinvent the wheel when it came to the blog. However, I had some fun and incorporated some different aesthetic elements that played nicely along with the website and the brand.
